right ok.

i have photofiltre not photoshop,

i have a picture i want to use, and i want to add text ontop of this picture and make the picture show through the text you know,

just so you have the outline of the text, and the picture showing through,

i have no idea how to do this and i would really appreciate it if someone would tell me how to

In photoshop, you can have 3 layers, the white background layer; the image layer, and the text layer; if you place the text layer over the image layer, and the image layer over the background layer; by double clicking the image layer you could set the transperantcy of the layer; lowering it to 75% will do what you want.

What your asking, I think, is for the photo inside the letters. That's called mask. I just checked the website for photofiltre and it doesn't support mask.

If you want a free photo program, download GIMP and then just google -- gimp mask -- for tutorial.

If you have Adobe Illustrator, it can also mask.
