I have Adobe photoshop cs3.

I needed to know how to make 3 layers in photoshop.

I have a tutorial that told me this..and can someone please tell me what and how to do this.....

When he says new canvas he means a new well canvas

File %26gt; New (pick your dimensions if her gives you when he used then do the name)

and the 3 layers are easy...

if you do not see the layers window in your workspace you can go windows%26gt; layers and you will see it come up

to creat a new layer you can use the hot key command ctrl+shift+alt+n do that 3 times and you will have 3 new layer

LAYER 3 - will be the silhouette cutout.

-if there was some pictures he supplied you with called the silhouette cutout then put that one on this layer if not.. he is simply telling you that when the time comes this will be the layer where the cutout will be on

on this layer take the paint bucket tool and copy the rgb color code above (red green Blue) and paste it into the area at the bottom just to the right of the color pallet
