Double click on the setup and enjoy the steps to installation. In some cases you may have to decompress the files and folders in the WinRAR and install.

The readme you see with the downloaded files is possibly the OEM agreement which will come up while you are installing. You don't need to try to make sense of the bunch of other files, the installer will figure that out for you.

If you have not used the program Photoshop before, after installation the best place to start would be the tutorial or help menu which normally is part of the program interface. It will give you even some examle which you can practice and will be a starting point for you. If you want further tutorial you may have to go the website of the program.

And finally, after installation you may be asked to make payment for you to get the full benefit of the package, do that and the package becomes yours.

When you begin using the 'stupid program' like you called it, you will find out that Photoshop is actually a great software for editing your photographs and taking care of picture and other graphics.
