I mean, i see software like photoshop and the other photoshop elements. What is the difference?

mradelbert is correct. Elements comes packaged with some printers and scanners. If you only need to adjust the light/dark tones in your pictures, or take some red-eye out then Elements will be fine.

The full version lets you work with RAW files (the uncompressed data from a digital camera), slice images for websites etc.
