How good is Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 in comparision to Adobe Photoshop CS3?

I mean, what are the limitations? What functions does the program have? What important qualities does Photoshop CS3 possess? If some of the things you can do are on Photoshop Elements (and I mean the 3.0 version), how are they better?

Thanks. 8D

First, Photoshop Elements 3 is three versions removed from the latest. There have been improvements with each release. There is a world of difference between Elements and CS3, that is why there is also a world of difference between the cost of the two. You will spend upwards of $700 for CS3 and with that you get all the features that a professional photo editor would probably need or use. Elements is a powerful little program for less than $100 --- look for Elements 3 and it can probably be found for $20 on Ebay. Elements 3 has all the features of CS3 EXCEPT, curves, paths, history brush, editable filters, masks and more which are most likely meaningless if I could name them all.
