Photoshop goes into "not responding" when i right click, duplicate layer.. but when i go to the top of the top of the toolbar and do it this way, it doesnt lock up and go into "not responding" what can i do to fix it? ive already re-installed it.. ive adjusted the cache.. anybody got a fix?

Maybe you need to add computer memory or you need to allocate more disk space for your temporary Adobe files.
