which version of adobe photoshop should i get?

Version 7.0, CS 3 or CS 8?

I've never tried any others apart from 7.0 so I can't give a totally valid point of view, but all I know is from what I can tell 7.0 does everything and anything and it's really easy to get a grasp of. Newer versions look slightly more complicated to me. Photoshop is a girls best friend :)

CS8 is bad, i have cs3 and that does EVERYTHING, get cs3
CS3 is the latest and obviously has the best functionality. The only problem is it is quite expensive. If you really need all it's functions, go for it, I have it and it rocks....
