Ok let me start this off, I want to make this plain simple, ive resetted Photoshop the whole ctrl+alt+shift in the beginning ofthe program and reset everything. Everythign was put back to orgional but it still has that weird setting i dont want i copy and paste pictures usually for the main one says "Index" instead of "background" and if i copy a picture off on to that it says on the Layer tab usually shows up as layer plus the background under Layer Tab but it puts that suppose be layer in the Index as primary main picture and i cant use obticity or anything without the actual layer.

You're in "index color" mode
At the top of the screen go to Image%26gt;Mode%26gt;RGB Color
You should now be working with layers again.
